The Department of Radiology contains scientific laboratories equipped with the latest advanced equipment, and six laboratories, namely: :

1 - X-ray Laboratory

The X-ray laboratory is considered to be one of the vital laboratories in the field of medical imaging and health. It aims to develop students' skills and knowledge in the field of fluoroscopy and the use of fluoroscopy devices, based mainly on the principle of intensive X-rays.

2- Sonar Laboratory

It is an important part of medical radiology techniques. It is characterized by specialization in training efficient health and medical technical cadres in a wide spectrum of health and medical technologies fields. The laboratory aspires to a local, regional and international status so as to provide high quality and advanced health services to the community

3- Mammography Laboratory

It is a specific place dedicated to training students in the field of health and medical technologies. The work of the laboratory is centered on teaching students’ radiology techniques and accurate diagnosis of breast diseases, which plays a crucial role in the early detection of breast cancer and increase the chances of recovery.

4-Radioanatomy Laboratory

It is an essential part of the Faculty of Medical and Health Technologies as it is specialized in training students on practical skills of anatomy and expanding their knowledge of imaging physical parts in three dimensions.

5- Physics Lab
It is a fundamental part of the Faculty of Medical and Health Technologies that aims to teach students the applied principles and concepts of physics and teach them practical application methods to develop their skills and knowledge. The Physics Laboratory plays a vital role in qualifying students and enabling them to achieve their educational and professional goals in the field of physics and related sciences.

6- Computer Lab

This laboratory in the Department of Radiology Technology is a modern and advanced place that fulfills the needs of students and workers in the educational field. As the laboratory contains modern laptops equipped with the Internet. This laboratory strives to enhance understanding of students of scientific theoretical concepts by providing the necessary tools and software to implement their projects.
