A warm welcome to the Department of Radiologic Technology- College of Health and Medical Technologies - Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for women.

The academic department represents the first administrative unit and the basic building block in the university’s organizational structure, as no university can perform its mission and achieve its goals except through the academic departments. Therefore, the Department of Radiology Techniques seeks to be an administrative unit with distinctive features and big goals by following the Ministry’s laws, instructions, regulations and systems accurately, honestly, and in a manner that is positively reflected on the department’s output of highly skilled specialized employees who make an effective contribution to building and advancing Iraqi society in various medical and health fields.

 The Department of Radiology Technologies began receiving its students in 2019-2020 and working on preparing all the requirements for scientific excellence for them by providing specialized employees who hold Ph.D. and Master’s degrees, some of them from solid international universities. These employees work with dedication and keenness to raise the scientific level of the department’s students.

In addition to the development of university teaching and advanced scientific research by equipping classrooms and educational laboratories with the latest devices and equipment from the finest origins and international companies that contribute to the delivery of scientific information, theoretical and practical with high accuracy, its educational program provides an integrated scientific experience that combines theoretical study and field practice to improve health care for patients.
